One of the primary reason for Involute to be associated with Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) is the empowerment of livelihood training for the many unemployed youth in the urban areas. At Involute Institute of Technical Training we are hoping to bring in many opportunities for you through this development initiative which is a government of AP Society forming part of Department of Municipal Administration & Urban Development. This is programme which is going to benefit around 2.20 lakhs of unemployed youth, we are through this initiative going to provide not only placement linked skill and trainings but also help you set up loans through the following schemes:-
- Under Urban Self Employment Programme [USEP] , Involute would facilitate through MEPMA and arrange subsidy of 25% of the total loan for setting up Micro Business Enterprise
- Under Urban Women Self-help Programme [UWSP], towards setting up of group enterprises, provides subsidy to the extent of 35% of the total loan amount, so far 278 units have been established under UWSP
The Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) is a Government of AP Society forming part of Department of Municipal Administration & Urban Development. It was launched on 1st September, 2007 by the then UPA Chairperson. Sri. N.
